Benefits Account Coordinator: Employee Benefits Division

Benefits Account Coordinator – Employee Benefits Division Britton Gallagher is currently accepting candidates for a full time Benefits Coordinator position in our Employee Benefits Division.

Duties include: Processing and marketing of business including preparation of proposals and presentation material. Maintaining accurate and complete customer files. Assisting customers with service inquiries related to enrollment, billing, and claims. Facilitating the enrollment process including assembling enrollment packets, entering online registrations, and preparing spreadsheets.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully the individual must be detail focused, possess strong computer skills, and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with multiple task assignments. The ability to work independently and as a team is important. As well as a strong willingness to learn, above average interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills are key characteristics of the ideal candidate.

Education/Licenses/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 1-3 years relevant administrative support experience. A valid Ohio Health and Life License or willingness to pursue. Should possess strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Excel, & Word.

Account Coordinator: Commercial Property & Casualty

Britton Gallagher is currently accepting candidates for a full time Account Coordinator position in our Commercial (Global) P&C Department. This position provides client service management, risk analysis, negotiation, and marketing for both renewal and new business activities.

Duties include:

Act as the primary client contact, coordinating renewal and marketing process including coverage needs analysis, negotiating program coverage and pricing as well as preparing and presenting proposals. Assisting clients with their daily servicing needs including managing account documentation and correspondence, processing policy transactions, maintaining the client database system, and general interactions with carriers and staff personnel.  

Qualifications:

Education/Software/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. 3-5 years property & casualty CSR experience preferred or 1+ years experience as an accoutn manager. Ohio Property & Casualty License or willing to pursue. Should possess working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, & Word and comfortable working in customer management systems.

Accounting Assistant

Britton Gallagher is currently accepting applications for an Accounting Assistant. This position assists the Accounting Department by maintaining accounts payable and cash receipts, process account current statements and insurance company payable accounts, manage direct bill, and provide collection services and other accounting functions as requested.

Apply cash to customer accounts
Process direct bill payments for all departments
Prepare vendor checks
Process insurance company payables
Process and reconcile account current statements
Maintain and reconcile petty cash and stamps
Relay company results to agency
File and Maintain W-9s and 1099s
Administer commission payments to outside companies
Process finance agreements and track funding
Manage carrier premium and commission discrepancies, payments, and account current payables
Process weekly receivables reports
Provide collection services for various departments
Enter journal entries
Audit monthly invoice detail and make appropriate corrections to discrepancies Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
1+ year of accounting experience
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
Excellent follow-up and completion of projects
Accurate and strong attention to detail
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Windows Must uphold a high level of loyalty, integrity and ethics
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality
