Benefits Consultant-Benefits Division

Britton Gallagher is currently accepting applications for a Benefits Consultant in our Employee Benefits Practice Group.  This position acts as a strategic advisor in managing all aspects of our medium to large size client’s health care programs.   

 

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess exceptional marketing and client service skills, be detail focused, and a self-starter.  Proven ability to analyze and evaluate client programs and needs and develop strategic solutions to clients complex health care benefits challenges. High level of competency in providing consultative and expert advice with comprehensive knowledge of benefits coverage’s, industry trends, laws, and compliance requirements. Ability to anticipate, address, and resolve client issues.  Outstanding presentation skills and relationship building skills.  The ability to make decisions within tight deadlines. Must have the ability to work independently and as a team lead with strong collaboration skills in accomplishing team service and production goals.  The ability to multi-task and prioritize is essential to this position.  

Duties include:

Lead client team in carrying out all aspects of managing a client book of business including plan program evaluations, needs assessments, carrier negotiations, and plan designs with both new and existing clients.  Prepare and present client proposals and agendas.  Serve as primary contact to client in acting as a trusted advisor in providing consulting expertise. Cross sell products and tools to round out client programs.  Manage client expectations in delivering superior service. 

Education/Licenses/Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating group health insurance programs.  Proven knowledge of all lines of coverage including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life/AD&D, Short Term and Long Term Disability, Health Savings Accounts, Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Reimbursement Accounts.

A valid Ohio Health and Life License preferred or willing to pursue. Should possess strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, & Word.

Account Coordinator-Benefits Division

Britton Gallagher is currently accepting applications for an Employee Benefits Account Coordinator.  This is an entry level position that supports the Employee Benefits Team and builds foundational skills to move to higher level roles.   

Qualifications:

The successful candidate should have a strong willingness to learn, a propensity for details and accuracy, and highly competent customer service skills.  A positive attitude focused on supporting team results.  Capable of working independently in accomplishing tasks and as team member.   Above average interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Duties include:

Support Benefits Consultants and Account Managers in processing and marketing of business including preparation of proposals and presentation material and maintaining customer files.  Assist customers with service inquiries related to enrollment, billing, and claims.  

Education/Licenses/Experience:

Health care insurance experience preferred but not necessary.

Account Manager-Executive Solutions

Duties include:

Training to develop into the primary client interface in managing a book of business that consists of leading account renewal and marketing functions, analyzing coverage needs, negotiating program terms and pricing, as well as preparing and presenting proposals.  Assist clients with their daily servicing needs, including managing account documentation and correspondence, processing policy transactions, maintaining the client database system, and general interactions with carriers and staff personnel.
